Wood WORKS seminar at Lakehead University
The Canadian Wood Council (CWC) is offering a Wood WORKS seminar at Lakehead University on Thursday, October 5. The event will explore the world of innovative wood applications and structural solutions with industry experts sharing their insights, strategies, research, and case studies.

Morning Session: 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. (AT1007)
Afternoon Session: 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. (AT2001)
Prof. Sam Salem, Chair of the Department of Civil Engineering who is hosting this event, will deliver a lecture in both the morning and the afternoon sessions on Building Tall with Wood: Benefits, Opportunities and Challenges, as part of this seminar.
Morning presentations will be in AT1007 and the afternoon presentations will be in AT2001.
The seminar is open to everyone and no registration is required. However, available spots are limited, so first come first serve.
