MSc Chemical Engineering
Overview
A Master of Science (MSc) in Chemical Engineering at Lakehead University satisfies the demand for highly qualified personnel that are prepared to address the chemical industry of Canada and beyond. This program offers students the opportunity for advanced studies and the development of independent research abilities in the discipline. Students in the MSc program have the opportunity to work collaboratively with world-class researchers in state-of-the-art facilities of the department. Graduate students will benefit from small class sizes, a collegial environment, and close supervisor-student interactions. The program currently offers one route to the degree:
- The thesis option fosters the independent research abilities of students. These objectives are achieved through a combination of course work (4 courses) and research. In this program, students will be trained on advanced topics and independent hands-on research that are relevant to industry. All thesis students must enroll full-time in the program.
