Ayman Alahmar received a master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) and a Ph.D. degree in Software Engineering from Lakehead University, Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. He also holds a Ph.D. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey.
He is currently an assistant professor with the Department of Software Engineering, Lakehead University. He has a long academic and industrial experience as an Associate Professor and a Serial Entrepreneur. He received numerous awards, including Excellence in Teaching Award, Dean’s Award for Excellence, and IEEE Best Presentation Award for the paper published in the IEEE International Conference on Cloud and Big Data Computing (CBDCom 2020).
His current research interests include artificial intelligence in engineering, health informatics, and software engineering. He serves as a reviewer for several journals, including Computers in Biology and Medicine and Informatics in Medicine Unlocked.
