I have over twenty years of progressive experience in various chemical process industries, developing know-how for new processes, directing complicated research topics, and designing, supervising, and constructing new chemical processes. I am recognized as a multidisciplinary hands-on engineer and researcher with considerable advanced experience and knowledge in modeling.
My main interest is in Computational Fluid Modeling (CFD) and multi-physics modeling. It is sophisticated modeling of transport phenomena, chemical reactions, with or without electrical field, and photonic radiation. This approach can be used for modeling and simulation of complex fluidized bed reactors and advanced oxidation reactors.
I have a strong proven record for developing, designing, improving, and scaling up of various industrial processes and equipment. This helps my student to connect dry theory taught in various courses with industrial applications. As a result, my teaching methods are unique in bringing industrial samples in the course that I am teaching.
After joining Lakehead University, I taught different courses such as design and sizing of mass transfer equipment, modeling of chemical reactors, fundamentals of crude oil refinery and hydrocarbon processing, design of air pollution control equipment. Those are supported by my strong industrial experiences.
