Research Interests
My research interests are focused on the thermodynamic description of complex systems such as mixtures of associated/polar components, electrolytes and molten salts. These substances are currently playing a relevant role in the decarbonization of industrial processes; therefore, understanding their thermodynamics is a must. The goal of my research is to advance in the understanding of the fundamental thermodynamics of these complex systems in order to develop accurate models for the prediction of their thermodynamic behaviour for engineering applications in process and product design.
