Contract Lecturer Position – Software Engineering

Lakehead University (Thunder Bay Campus) invites applications for a Contract Lecturer in the Department of Software Engineering. Applicants are requested to teach:

FALL/WINTER 2023-2024 COURSES

  • ESOF 2254 FA – Data Management and Info Systems (Start/End Date: September 5 – December 4)
  • ESOF 4557 FA  -Data and Digital Communication (Start/End Date: September 5 – December 4)
  • ESOF 2571 WA – Computer Hardware and Software Systems (Start/End Date: September 5 – December 4)
  • ESOF 0154/5232 WA – Soft Construction & Evolution (Start/End Date: January 8 – April 9)ESOF 2918 WA – Technical Project (Start/End Date: January 8 – April 9)

Please note: This schedule is tentative and subject to change. Instructors should refer to the online timetable in August prior to the start of classes.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with P.Eng. designation. Education background and proven practical experience in the subject matter along with experience with experiential learning and online or alternative modes of delivery is highly desired.
