Barrie Hub
Our newest location is Lakehead Engineering’s Barrie Hub where we deliver programs with Georgian College through the Lakehead-Georgian Partnership.
The Barrie Hub serving Central and Southern Ontario is located at Georgian College in Barrie, and offers our students access to all the college’s facilities and amenities – including living accommodation, fitness centre and innovation labs.
One of Canada’s fastest growing cities, Barrie sits along the western shore of Lake Simcoe on Kempenfelt Bay.
In the summer, you’ll be close to Barrie’s waterfront with its three pristine beaches, numerous parks and waterfront trails. There’s also lots of festivals, including the Barrie Waterfront Festival, Winterfest, Celebrate Barrie, Ecofest, Jazz & Blues Festival and Promenade Days.
In the winter, you’ll have snowboarding, skiing, snowmobiling or tubing on your doorstep, with some of Canada’s best known winter resorts nearby including Horseshoe Resort, Mount St. Louis Moonstone, Snow Valley and Blue Mountain.
Barrie is only 90 kilometres north of Toronto making big city attractions easily accessible by car or train just one hour away.
