Pre-Eng
Overview
Our Pre-Eng (Common Year of Applied Science) program at Lakehead Engineering provides a one-year pathway for everyone, including applicants without all the admissions requirements, to enter any of our BEng engineering programs.
If you don’t have all the pre-requisites and grades – don’t worry. The Pre-Eng program is a specially-designed intensive preparation year where you’ll learn the fundamental skills and knowledge you’ll need to begin your BEng degree program.
This program gives you a broad understanding of the foundations of engineering including mathematics, physics, chemistry and design, and offers you the opportunity to decide which field of engineering you wish to enter when you enrol in your BEng program.
